Omnom Necropolis Review

Hello everybody, Shaun Meyers here to share my thoughts on Omnom Necropolis by Post Punk Games. I received a copy of the game from the developers but like all of my reviews this has no effect on my thoughts and experiences with the game.

Omnom Necropolis is a horror themed logical puzzle game where you must guide a worm through the correct path to eat all of the objects in the level. It’s a pretty common setup in the puzzle genre but this one is pretty easy so it’s a great place to start if you’re new to the genre. It’s also worth noting that this is the developer’s first game and it was developed by a team of 2 people.

The game features 120 levels in all. The levels start off pretty simple but as you progress, they become that much more challenging to figure out. New mechanics are also introduced at certain intervals, like portals and switches, which add to the challenge.

I will say that the game does feature some nice graphics and it’s definitely the nicest looking game in this style of puzzle game that I’ve played so far. The art style feels very polished and clean. The music is also pretty nice as well and gives the game a rather Halloween kinda feel to it.

Overall, Omnom Necropolis is a pretty fun logic based puzzle game and while there are tons of games with this style of gameplay, the art style and Halloween kinda feel to it makes it fairly unique. If you’re a fan of the genre, the game is worth checking out as it’ll give you quite a few hours of enjoyment depending on your skill level. As the developers first game, they did a good job on it and I look forward to seeing what they’ll be able to make in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to read this short review folks. I’ll be back with another soon, until then, happy gaming folks!
